My stay at Kate's Place was overall quite pleasant. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean, providing a peaceful environment for a good night's sleep. The location was convenient, just a 15-minute walk from the train station. I also appreciated the friendliness of George the cat, who made me feel right at home. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as the untidy kitchen and the lack of a towel, I found that the positives outweighed the negatives. I would recommend Kate's Place for its affordability, location, and calm atmosphere.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the well-maintained antique Jacuzzi bath, complete with bubbles and on-board radio. It was a perfect way to relax after a long drive and much needed. The kitchen and lounge were accessible to us, which made us feel like we rented a house. The accommodation was calm, quiet, and peaceful. We also appreciated the fair price per night. The location was convenient, just a 15-minute walk from the train station. The neighbourhood was residential.

Easy access to tea and coffee in the kitchen, with freedom to come and go. Friendly hostess and introduction to George the cat. Adequate and unique room setup. Option to wash clothes. Suitable for solo travelers.
